THIRD ANNUAL CANAL CLEAN-UP

The North Tonawanda Waterfront Commission is conducting its Third Annual Canal Clean-Up in conjunction with the state-wide canal clean sweep of the New York State Canal Corporation.

This clean-up will take place on SATURDAY, APRIL 19, 2008 STARTING AT 9:00 AM.   The clean-up is scheduled for approximately 8 hours.  The clean-up crew will gather at the SERVICE DRIVE BOAT LAUNCH ON SWEENEY STREET move to the west toward the handicapped fishing dock across from Niagara Street. 

Anyone wishing to volunteer should meet at the boat launch are requested to bring work gloves and rakes.  Wish for good weather and come out to help clean-up our waterfront.
